Dad had a peacful night as he is heavily sedated. Please continue to pray for us as a family, especially for Kendra and Mackenzie as this is their precious Grandpa and they are having a very difficult time.

Friends,
ReplyDeleteWe're praying this Lord's day for healing and restoration for Jack. We're praying for all of you as an extended family, trusting that God will provide for your every need. We're praying for colleagues and co-workers who are being hugely impacted by your Christian family. We're praying for the medical teams who are on the front lines of service to Jack.
We're trusting that our God, who has demonstrated His love for us in Jesus Christ, will provide for your every need and give you HOPE!

Where are the words? They seem to be so elusive just now. Mom Hoeppner is praying for her son. She is hurting along with the rest of the family. Yet she keeps saying that God is our refuge in these uncertain times. Many people in Altona are praying along with us for Jack's recovery. We love you. You know where to reach us. Ed & Ruth
ReplyDeleteYou are in the hearts and minds of your friends at FGMB. Many were asking for news of Jack in the foyer after the service this morning. We continue to pray for you as a family, the medical team and for all those who are hoping and waiting with you. May you feel God's arms about you.

I've known, liked and admired Jack since my days at CFAM (1974). I just learned a life lesson through all of this. Jack and I often remarked "we should get together for supper" but because of procrastination and his schedule..we didn't do it...until 3 weeks ago!!!. My wife and I met Jack and Marilyn and spent a lovely evening together reminiscing and catching up. We said we'd do it again soon.. I still hope we can and i've learned to to spend time with treasured friends sooner and not later.

Thanks for creating this blog, Collen, as it makes it easier to know your dad's status. As I've told you & your mom, we are all praying for God's perfect will for your dad as well as all of you. We as a family have been blessed by being a part of the extended family & even though we live miles apart, when we get together it's easy to pick up where we left off - & it's because we are part of God's family. Jevon, Janeal & Jerilyn with their families are praying specifically for you all today -for God's wisdom & perfect peace. We love you all & you know I will come in a heartbeat, Marilyn, to be with you. God is in control & I'm thankful for the peace you seem to have when I talked to you. Will talk to you later.
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you & your family during this difficult time. God is ALWAYS good although we may not understand His reasoning or His timing; it is always perfect. I am praying for a miracle and for your dad not to be suffering. I am also praying for comfort and peace for you all as a family.

Jack, rest my friend ! You deserve it. A few weeks ago you and I were talking about how fortunate we both have been to have been able to work together. I much more than you...
ReplyDeleteI have been close to you and your family for over 16 years. We both had the pleasure of having Grant work for us in the early years.
Marylin and Colleen, Lesley and I were at Bethal this morning and we both prayed for Jack and your family. It is Jack's time to rest, and soon he will be back, stronger than ever from this experience.
I am away next week. I look forward to the biggest hug in the work ,Jack ( and family).
Take care.. that transmitter tube can wait a few weeks !!

ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn, greetings to you and your beloved family. I just learnt that my friend Jack is not doing well. He is in my prayers - praying that God would heal, comfort and strengthen him in these trying times.
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you, your husband Jack has be a good friend to me, very supportive in my work at Voice of Life Radio. Tell him I say thank you for the friendship and the support he gave me in the past, I appreciated that very much. Your husband Jack played a part in the person that I have become in my field of work.
Have a good and godly day, you all are in my prayers. Remember you are not alone in all this, be encouraged.
