Dad Update - Tuesday afternoon

Dad has been moved to Palliative Care.  He is breathing on his own but medical efforts to help him regain consciousness have stopped.  Please pray for mom.  These are long days, and even longer nights. We thank you for all your support and concern at this time visits are limited to immediate family only.

  2. Ps.23..."Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow...You are with me...You comfort me...Your goodness & love will follow me..."
Marilyn, Grant, Colleen, I am lifting you up to "the Father of compassion & the God of all comfort" 2 Cor. 1. He will never leave you or forsake you. I am asking Him to carry you through this hardest of all times. I know that He will.
    Love & prayers,

  3. This morning I read these words and thought of you, Marilyn and family:
"When I said, 'My foot is slipping,' your love, O Lord, supported me.
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul." Ps 94: 18-19
    Many prayers, MaryAnne

  4. You are Sylvester Stallone the last round is your's to choose. P.S. HE WON THE LAST FIGHT. Your daughter is walking every step with you, she just needs you to walk along the way with her. I can remember our lunches you talking about the kids at the lake and so much love, the trip with the son with stars in your eyes as you are so proud he is just like dad with the passion. Jack iF God needs an angel is it you but so much people still need you here bud. Your love for your wife, your private secretary, bref the love of your life. Hang in there my dear friend we still need you. JoAnne, Johanne SBRF TEAM

  5. There are only a few really important moments in life, as you look back over the decades. For me, Jack was a part of some of those moments. I can't tell you what they are because that is who I am but I could sit across from Jack and nod, and he would nod, because we are on the same page, and are of one mind. If I was there now, I would sit across from Jack and nod - cause there really isn't anything else to say, it is just the way it is. There is pain and suffering and memories, and family and friends, and God and life.

  7. I'm reminded as I see the cross on top of the hospital at St. Boniface Hospital (although I'm not sure which hospital you are in), that God is with you all and caring for you all during this time. We are praying for you and our hearts and thoughts are with you day in and out. God bless.

  9. The broadcasting community gathered in Gatineau for a CRTC public hearing and we thought of Jack today. Jack and Marilyn's contribution to our success is immense.

We all pray for him and his family.

  11. Not many people better than Jack. He truly is a wonderful man and I, and my colleagues have the greatest respect for him. Jack can pretty much do anything and solve any problem. Come on Jack, come on back, you can do it. Marilyn, hang in there. Leafa and I are saying prayers regularly. God bless you, Jack and your family

  12. I don't usually wake up much at night, but I did several times this past night, and was prompted to pray for you all. May you feel the arms of Jesus around you.

  13. from 2003 to 2008 while I was travelling across country a lot for the company, Jack and I bumped into each other in many different cities, radio stations and in many different airports. With a smile on his face Jack would often remind me not to yell "Hi Jack" when I spotted him in the airport, he suggested "hello Jack" at airports :). Then with a bigger smile he'd start talking about his grandchildren. Thought you'd like to know that.
